Café Blue and the mod divide

The return to Australia after over 20 years in August of pop icon Paul Weller prompts days of too much homework, hormones running hot, high hopes, little money, 17% interest rates, the green house effect yes— global warming far away, a part time cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken. The debut LP Café Blue by the Style Council was a sound that fused jazz synthpop that split in two the fan base of Paul Weller — founding member of UK mod revival trio — The Jam and new romantic romp — The Style Council. What were you doing on the 21st or 22 of November in 1985? In Pennant Hills one was frying chicken while at the Horden Pavillon Mick and Paul played.

A minty pale blue

Think frosty, minty, princess cut, fresh as an alpine sky, twin sets in fine cashmere, maybe with a Pringle diamond or two, give or take, go minty pale blue on your next high flying colour pallet.

Cross dressing san serif fonts…

It is a nerd thing and sorry to burden normal people with type talk. What is troublesome to the eye is the proliferation of refreshed brands opting to choose typefaces that are neither here nor there, Arthur or Martha, serif or sans serif. A meatball sundae, a chicken milkshake, a fish ice lolly, and Cross dressing sans serifs are on the design menu everywhere. Where does the blame rest? Start with a font called Rotis.
