Located 140kms south east of Melbourne, Phillip Island is an out-of-the-way sea side spot in Westernport Bay. Discovered by George Bass in 1798, Phillip Island was once roamed by Bunurong people for 39,000 years.
The current population stands at 7,000 people whom often witness some of Australia’s most restless weather systems generated from the unpredictable Bass Strait.

During the summer holiday some people in Melbourne hang around town and some, the lucky ones, find somewhere quiet in the country or by the sea. This is Pearl Café in holiday mode with a summer menu and an image by Andrew in holiday mode as well.

Melbourne is reknowned for its extremes in weather during Spring. Over a few hours, Andrew shot these images last week looking to the west from inside the studio.
1 commentToday marked the launch of the 2008 Melbourne Fringe Festival at Trades Hall in Carlton. This year we worked with new team to develop an image campaign that draws upon the audience to devise a mask and develop an alter ego. Again XYZ has developed an excellent TVC for the season, watch Channel 10 in the coming weeks. Thanks again to the all the staff at Fringe for allowing us to create this outcome.
